Affiliations and Certifications

NARI: National Association of the Remodeling Industry John Ashton, founder of Baths Plus, Inc. is a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and is one of less than 20 Certified Remodelers in the Cincinnati area. As the only national association dedicated solely to the remodeling industry, NARI's focus is on professional conduct, continuing education and training, and fair and ethical treatment of constituent’s within the remodeling industry. Among its many functions, NARI promotes sound business practices and professionalism in the remodeling industry. Members voluntarily subscribe to a strict code of ethics creating an exceptional experience for the remodeling consumer.

John Ashton's affiliation with NARI spans nearly two decades. He has been actively involved as a member, served on the Board of Directors in the Public Relations seat, chaired the Ethics Committee, is now currently the Education Chair. John is part of twenty National NARI members that have been chosen to committee the new Project Management Certification for the remodeling industry.

Since choosing to remodel your bathroom, kitchen, basement, or any other part of your home is a big decision, the remodeling contractor you hire should be a full-time, dedicated remodeling professional that has been certified by NARI. This way you can have confidence and security knowing that the contractor you hire has made a strong commitment to the professionalism of the remodeling industry and to his or her business.

NARI's certification program involves extensive screening, training and testing. Even highly experienced and skilled remodelers find this process to be quite challenging. A NARI Certified Remodeler (CR) such as John Ashton of Baths Plus, must provide a full range of remodeling services. He must also possess skill and knowledge in a broad range of business management and technical areas.

John Ashton continues to meet annual recertification requirements involving continuing education and participation in remodeling industry related programs.
