Company History

In August of 1989, John W. Ashton, CR (Certified Remodeler), registered in the State of Ohio to do business as Baths Plus Inc. The primary business was as a Bathroom contractor for Sears Home Improvement Services and Kitchen Installation Services for Central Hardware. Baths Plus Inc quickly became an installer of choice for much of the sales force at these companies. Sears and Central Hardware knew that we were dependable; we could do the job cleanly, on budget, and on time.

In 1991, Baths Plus Inc was recognized by their peers and invited to join the local chapter of the National Association of Remodelers Industry, (NARI). Later that same year Baths Plus Inc was asked to become a board member. Mr. Ashton has passed the National Association of Remodelers Industry certification program. Mr. Ashton is a Certified Remodeler as deemed by the National Association of Remodelers Industry, one of only a few in Cincinnati.

In 1993, Baths Plus Inc became a preferred contractor with many of the popular Internet referral services (most of which are gone now). Baths Plus Inc has been a member of numerous associations and takes pride in being a current member of the Better Business Bureau, The Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, The Building Trades Association and the National Association of Remodelers Industry.

Baths Plus Inc uses a combination of well trained employees and sub-contractors whose proven skills match or surpass our founder's high standards. Sub contractors fabricate and set all of the special Granite, Quartz and Solid Surface counter tops and Basco measures and installs their specialty shower doors.

In August of 2003, Baths Plus Inc opened its first showroom in Milford. Baths Plus Inc quickly outgrew this location and moved to the current Reading location in the fall of 2006. The current location is conveniently located in the center of Cincinnati, Ohio and very easy to find. A full 5,400 square feet of Design Center, offices and warehouse features over 100 cabinet styles, hundreds of porcelain and ceramic tiles from American Olean, Florida Tile and Dal tile, tops of all materials such as Corian, Cambria, Avonite, Custom Cast and Mystera. Beautiful faucets from Moen, Delta and Kohler. Baths Plus Inc is a registered dealer of Basco shower doors, Aristokraft, Rockglen & Jim Bishop Cabinets, Wilsonart counter tops and Jetta whirlpool tubs!
