Low Cost Water Saving Toilets
Today's 1.6 gallon flush toilets are about the sixth generation of water saving toilets. This means that they actually flush like the older 3.2 gallon toilets, yet they save a lot more water. But what will it cost for this improved, water-saving technology?
While Kohler, Mansfield and Toto brands span a complete range of prices, you will find the $75 Mansfield toilet in almost any new home built today. In fact, the Mansfield Alto is the standard by which all others are measured.
In a recent test of toilets, the Mansfield Alto ranked 5th out of over 25 toilets. The few that ranked ahead of it cost over $250! Since the 1.6 law was enacted, Baths Plus has continuously suggested the Alto and we have not had to recall one yet!
